2 - Needle book for our hand sewing needles

is the second part of a continues beginner sewing series. Originally, I’ve designed this class as an addition to my in-person classes with additional videos and documents.

Now it has evolved into a standalone class that can be used for home schooling, as guided “teaching yourself” lesson or for any of my in-person students who were not able to attend class for various reasons.

Each class has a specific focus and some hands on learning. All projects are kept simple so younger children are able to learn this wonderful skillset in a fun way.

The whole beginner series consists of 8 classes. While most classes built up on each other to teach you various basic sewing skills some classes can easily be done on its own. It always depends on the knowledge you already have or would like to improve as well. Of course in those 8 weeks we are not able to cover everything considered basics in all 3 sewing segments. Instead we focus on the absolute basics that are found within all 3 segments (quilting, fashion and accessories). Once we have laid this foundation you will feel more confident to venture on and try new techniques and projects. :)

Susanne McPhee

Hi I'm Susanne an Inspirational Sewing Instructor who loves quilting and creating any quick and easy sewing projects.

I always try to see the positive in everything no matter how tiny the "good spark" is. And whenever possible I try to see this in the fabric I choose as well or I stitch good memories or a good feeling into my projects. Sew with purpose and make the most of the time you have.

If I'm not sewing I either spin ideas what I could create or simply enjoy spending time with family and friends.
